Vodacom Group has announced that Ivan Dittrich has been appointed as its Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, joining the Group on or about 1 July 2012. He joins from Datatec where he has been CFO since May 2008 and Executive Director since March 2008. Prior to joining Datatec, Drittrich worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and Deloitte in South Africa.

ARCEP hosted 40 participants from Francophone Africa 9-13 January 2012 to better manage domain names in Ouagadougou. Better control of the management of domain names as well as national frequencies and addresses with numbers was called for, as these resources are not inexhaustible.
